Monday:

• 5:30 - 6:15 Woodwind Ensemble - Instructed by Jason Mescia
  This ensemble is for middle school aged children who are at an upper elementary level of playing. The group performs a variety of classical, popular, traditional and jazz tunes.


• 7:15 - 8:30 Adult Woodwind Ensemble - Instructed by Jason Mescia
  This ensemble accepts adult musicians of varying levels who are looking for the opportunity to perform in a group setting. The ensemble plays popular, classical, jazz and traditional tunes.


• 8:00 - 9:00 Rock Ensemble - Instructed by Dave Gladkowski
  This ensemble is for intermediate level high school players. The group performs modern and classic rock music and member must be willing to sing.

Tuesday:

• 7:30 - 8:00 Beginner Violin Ensemble Level 1 - Instructed by Gina Brandolini
  This ensemble is for beginning violin students who can play at the level of Suzuki Book 1. The music performed is mostly classical and popular. This is not a Suzuki class.

Thursday:

• 8:00 - 8:30 String Orchestra - Directed by Vanessa VanSciver
  

  Eligibility requirements: This ensemble is open to students of all abilities. From beginning students who are able to bow through advanced students.

  Registration will be limited to the specifics of the group. See below for instrumentation.

  Instrumentation required: Violin, Viola and Cello

  Sessions will consist of 12 consecutive weeks. Payment for the 12 week session is due at registration and is non-refundable. Each 12 week session culminates with a performance.

  All orchestra members are responsible to bring their own instruments. Music will be supplied by the New Jersey School of Music. All music must be returned after the concert. There will be a small fine for those who do not return their music.

Friday:

• 3:45 - 4:30 Beginner Violin Ensemble Level 2 - Instructed by Gina Brandolini
  This ensemble is for beginning violin students who can play at the level of Suzuki Book 2. The music performed is mostly classical and popular. This is not a Suzuki class.

• 5:00 - 6:00 Swing Thing - Instructed by Clarence Watson
  A group for beginning to intermediate level players who have an interest in learning how to swing (jazz feel). The swing thing will be participating in the Jazz Bridge Student Showcase on Saturday, May 8th, 2010. For more information please see our events page.
