Cyndee Lee Rule has been a violin teacher at the New Jersey School of Music since 2001. Her teaching style is in the traditional classical method with a strong focus on music theory and music history. Posture and technique are key elements in Cyndee's students' creating proper habits for life, which start from the very first lesson. Her student retention rate is among the highest in the school, enabling her to hone the students' skills to an advanced level over many years.
Cyndee's students have performed in: the All-South Jersey Orchestra, All-State Orchestra, Philadelphia Youth Orchestra, Rowan Youth Orchestra, the Philharmonic of Southern NJ and the Mark Wood "Electrify Your Strings" Rock Orchestra workshop. Although classical is the main priority, Cyndee requires her students to branch out into other genres including: jazz, fiddling, movie soundtracks, holiday music, world music, pop and rock.
