About the New Jersey School of Music
Welcome to the New Jersey School of Music, located in Historic Medford Village and in Cherry Hill, NJ. Our doors opened in 1958 as the Medford School of Music. In 1974 the name was changed to the New Jersey School of Music. Our expert, degreed and professional staff, instruct students of all ages and ability, and only teach the instruments they are trained and qualified to teach. Lessons are available Monday through Saturday with most instruments available every day. We offer music lessons in the following instruments: Banjo, Bass, Cello, Clarinet, Drums, Flute, French Horn, Guitar, Harmonica, Mandolin, Piano, Piccolo, Recorder, Saxophone, Violin, Viola, Trombone, Tuba, Trumpet, Ukulele Viola, Violin and Voice. Additionally, on staff is a Board Certified Music Therapist offering private music therapy sessions for students with special needs. The New Jersey School of Music's goal is to help bring the joy of music to the community and into your life.
