The New Jersey School of Music, LLC

Founded in 1958, The New Jersey School of Music is nestled in the heart of historic Medford. We operate under the philosophy that the study of music is a life long endeavor appropriate for anyone who has ever yearned to play an instrument or vocalize.  It is our intention to make the study of music an accessible, fulfilling and enjoyable pursuit in our community. We open our doors to you and hope that you find our school to be a place where you can expand your horizons and enrich your life in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere

The Basics

Regularly scheduled lessons at the New Jersey School of Music, LLC cost $23 per half hour, which is payable at the first of the month for the month ahead. When you sign up you are assigned to a specific teacher, day of the week and time (All lessons are private). We expect to see you every week at that time unless you let us know otherwise. Each student is entitled to four absences with make up lessons (with your teacher), you may be absent beyond that but we will not grant make ups. Students who remain on schedule throughout the summer months are entitled to two yearly vacation days (lessons you miss and do not pay for). To cancel lessons all you need to do is give us one weeks notice. All communication concenring lessons must go through the front desk.

Special appointment lessons (for those who cannot commit to a consistent schedule) and trial lessons cost $25 per half hour.

The weekly cost for ensembles and group classes is $12 for students and $15 for non-students.

For more information a copy of our school policy can be accessed from the link below.
